The myths don’t even make sense as coherent stories once you go from most powerful god that gives us a justification to steal your land to all powerful, all good, all knowing god.

And god, ostensibly being omniscient, put all of that into effect all while already knowing 100% that they were going to eat the fruit. It’s not really “giving them a chance” when you already know perfectly well what they’re going to do, now is it?
