With previous Rexit’s like the API debarcle etc. many users were left looking for an alternative, but with decision fatigue and bad UX etc. most did not find the Fediverse a viable option.
What needs to still improve, how can we be ready this time?
I have a 1Gbps connection and a few TBs of storage to contribute with - technically - but I don’t have the time to moderate…
Unfortunately Those kind of resources cannot be really used unless you’re very trusted by an admin
I understand. But also, on a personal level, I don’t know how I would deal with legal matters if and when people started sharing illegal data on my server. So, that’s another obstacle.
