What can I say, we’ve had a succession of stupid PMs elected through our flawed election system. If you ask me it needn’t have been an unmitigated disaster if they had the creativity to think beyond “brexit means brexit” but that’s the calibre of people they are, it’s been very frustrating.

Pro-remain in a kind of laissez-faire sort of “oh yes chaps it would’ve been better to import Bree with no tariffs” kind of way may have increased since the referendum, but people have not been protesting every week since the referendum.

Hence my question, what has prompted this protest at this time ?

I don’t know about every week but there have been plenty of protests, it’s nothing out of the blue.
