Who would have though a paid plasma centre would have some sort of incentive to collect as much blood product as possible without regards for safety. Almost like capitalism has fucked up and dangerous priorities.
I quickly googled the subreddits about poverty finances talking about how to make money getting as much blood donated as possible. If you are so poor that you are trying to make $300-400 a month donating then you probably aren’t making enough money to properly maintain the nutrients to recover from losing a pint of blood.
