Fuck off; it’s already summer:

When am I going to find time to clean while cooking? I’m too busy cooking!

I’m convinced that ~30-35% of all living beings are complete and utter psychopaths, who are incapable of caring about anything that doesn’t affect them on a personal basis. Literally a third of all going about their lives with no empathy whatsoever. I wonder what the evolutionary purpose for this is…

I used to prefer CRTs too… And then I got an OLED. Nothing else comes close, not even the best CRTs. Especially if it’s got quantum dots in combination with OLED.
Given that input lag was already solved five years ago, really the only advantage CRTs still have left is their ability to look great at non-native resolutions. But upscaling filters like HQX/xBR for retro games, and DLSS/FSR for modern titles, have all but completely eliminated that last remaining advantage. These filters are really good at upscaling lower resolution content to fit your display’s pixels. Hell, DLSS is so good that it looks better than native 4K.
Problem with sensor microwaves is that they still blast the food at full power when you use the Sensor Cook setting, and I don’t know of any microwave that lets you reduce the power by half when in Sensor Cook, resulting uneven heating regardless. They’re usually just a one button operation. I need finer control!
Most definitely. Learn what the power button on the microwave does, and use it every time you heat up food. The only time you should ever leave it at the default of 100%/10/HIGH is when you’re boiling water.

Weird, I’ve never had that issue on neither my Fold 3, nor my current Fold 7. The GF’s Flip 3 doesn’t have that issue either.
Maybe it’s something Samsung does on their non-Flagships to make a little extra money?
Literally every microwave I’ve ever known uses PWM for power control, but alternating between off and full blast still heats more evenly than just leaving it on the default non-stop full blast setting that literally everyone uses and never changes.

My entire job relies on an app not on the Play Store. I wonder how this change is going to affect business. They’re hiring a lot of people like they either have a backup plan or no idea what’s coming.
My boss is Gen Z and as such she’s tech illiterate, so she doesn’t really understand what I’m trying to say when I voice my concerns.

What I usually do is increase deadzone until joystick no longer registers inputs while centered. And then move them around a bit and check to make sure that they return to 0,0 when let go of every time.
Seriously, is it really that fucking difficult for the average person to understand how the power setting works? My microwaved food comes out evenly-heated every time, because I’m not a fucking idiot.

Seriously, how hard is it to write a blanket, “No spyware allowed in electronics whatsoever” law and call it a day?

Did they ever have flavor?
I remember being disappointed by them as far back as the mid 90s.

Yeah at least it’s better than Apple’s approach, where you have to connect your phone to a PC once every 7 days to reactivate Developer Mode. Don’t have a computer? Fuck you!
That said, I have zero faith in Google sticking with the compromise solution in the long run. They’re going to try to force the change on everyone again in the future, once they’ve broken us down a bit more.

And this is why you don’t get invited to parties.

Yeah but it’s called Masking. You adapt to fit the situation. In this case, since we’re talking about a town in the US, it makes no sense to use celcius. When in Rome.
As someone with Autism, this is a skill you need to learn. Otherwise people just think you’re an asshole.

We need a second hippie revolution. And I don’t mean the half-assed underground “comebacks” from the late 90s and 2010s, a real movement that actually influences policy.

In my city they solve this issue simply by making a sign that says “drive this speed when light is blinking”, otherwise normal speed limit applies.

No one cares about Macs.
If it were it would be a sexual predator’s dream come true.
