Autistic and ADHD, Im a huge nerd who loves researching whatever interests me that day. My lifetime passions range from AI(actual AI, not LLMs. I was working on AI a decade before LLMs hit he market), programming, inventing, educating, futurism, tech, space, and for the last couple years bioengineering. I use lemmy as my only “social media”, and even then i mostly use it for news or memes. I hate society as is it ableist, hippocritical, uncaring to those whose value cant be extracted, and most humans are pretty cringe. As such i have no desire for “social media”, it suffers from the exact same issues reality TV suffers from.
I do have a biological desire to socialize however, so i prefer to have a small group i am intensely devoted towards, whether that be friends, family, or a lover. If youre looking for a personal connection i would like for you to reach out, but if youre a guy then be forewarned: i will not respond to misogyny, i cant comfort you,

0·5 days agoA lot of anime can toe this line, this issue with anime is that a fair amount if the well written anime feature fanservice with visually underage characters. Even the original dragon ball had nudity. Its largely a western issue, maybe specifically the US but im not sure. For some reason in the US the human body is seen as inherently sexual and its super gross to me. I always try to upvote womens liberation stuff because my biggest issue is the hypocracy surrounding breasts. Seperately I support naturism, but I recognise that convincing the US that nudity isnt something to be scared of isnt super realistic.
Yeah, thats why i advocate for physician assisted suicide. No matter what happens, its going to be me and people like me who suffer most. It doesnt really seem like anyone is actually inclined towards helping, so im pretty sure most of the people like me just want a humane way out.

My financial situation means that if that phone fails to work or breaks rapidly, the loss of that $200 is extremely consequential. Odds are lower that an unused phone will break within the 5 years i need them to last

Well google just renabled automatic app updates and it broke a bunch of my apps because I get the pre adware/spyware/buyout version of apps. So ive been in the market the last week for a graphene phone. Seems pretty likely ill get a stock android phone thats supported by grapheneOS and flash it myself, im uncomfortable with buying a pre used $200 phone.
Nice point, but I cant get people to agree that maybe killing innocent people is bad. Getting them to boycott pringles? Laughable that youd even suggest people care enough. Its not that I wont do anything about it, its that I cant.

I cant remember what it was, but i do believe i saw a bra advice community. It hit all a while back with a trans woman asking for bra sizing advice, and they got a ton of good feedback. Sorry to both of you i cant remember the name, but i do think i might have been c/bra_advice somewhere

0·6 days agoThey need to start using dirty bombs. Fill their payloads with salt so when the dome blows them up, it salts the land. Optionally, if you can find a way to arc the shrapnel down you could go for a type of cluster munition or shrapnel bomb that is designed to still be deployable after taking a ballistic missile. The options for drones also raises greatly if you have a little know how, but im not sure flying drones would be the way to go.
You have to understand that most humans are really fucking stupid, or at least illogical. Take every interaction with a grain of salt, because the person you are arguing with at the end of the day is a barely functional slab of meat that nature trained to think, as a joke.
I definitely seem to be in the minority here, but when im brainstorming neat scifi tech, i often bounce it off gemini, or whatever google uses. It very often corrects me on my misunderstandings, i have had it halucinate a couple times but were mostly operating on logic, so its failings are easy to spot. Its generally more than happy to tell me im wrong, so its useful as a baseline.
