  • It’s just like everyone looked at alt-right young Nazi streamers, and learned all the wrong lessons…

    Literally:

The show’s name Young Turks has been criticized and called for change[35] due to the original Young Turks political movement in the Ottoman Empire being responsible for committing the Armenian genocide, the Assyrian genocide, and the Greek genocide.[37][36] Alex Galitsky, who works for the Armenian National Committee of America, stated “If a group decided to call themselves ‘the Young Nazis’, and pitched themselves as a disruptor or anti-establishment news outlet, people would be rightly outraged”.[37]

That’s his uncle that mentored him… Those are the people who shaped his political opinions

There’s plenty of actual progressive streamers, hell, Kat has an open schedule, and people actually like her.

The only people who like Hasan, are people who want to piss off people who disagree with them.

If we’re gonna piss of Nazis, there’s better ways to do it than hanging out with different flavors of bigots and genocide enthusiasts.

  • He’s a douchey nepo baby who comes off as an insufferable jackass… Seriously, his mom made him intern at his uncle’s company (The Young Turks) and when his uncle needed someone to fill in, he picked his nephew.

Who immediately quit the internship and became a fulltime streamer.

He is a lot like the far right streamers that neoliberals want.

But he’s not what the vast majority of the Dem voting base wants.

And it has absolutely nothing to do with any policy position he may or may not have. Because he didn’t get into this for politics, he wants the attention of being a streamer and he saw an opening.

He’s not a political activist who streams, he’s a streamer that will say anything to get famous, and we don’t need people like that attached to the party.

He wants to sit on twitch 8 hrs a day and say vote D? Awesome, more power to him.

But he’s clearly saying whatever gets him attention, and shit is too important to legitimize him when that’s all he cares about

  • Daniel Vávra, Warhorse Studios’ co-founder, appears to be fully on board with the controversial technology and recently took to X to support Nvidia’s DLSS 5 AI-slop filter tech. “This is just a little uncanny beginning,” Vávra stated in his post. “No way haters will stop this.”

On the plus side we got two amazing games out of Warhouse…

But I doubt I’ll ever buy another game from them now. Not even as a boycott thing, if they’re embracing the slop this hard at all levels, I’m just not gonna want anything they make

  • It’s not about bathrooms…

    It’s about the segregation.

If they see someone who looks trans, they’ll harass them regardless of what bathroom they go in.

You’re immediately giving the excuse. A person who was trans would have to do that Everytime they went into the bathroom they don’t identify with, but legally have to use.

The goal isn’t for ing them in either bathroom, it’s a blank check to harass and I timidate people not confirming to the 1940s gender constructs.

They’ll keep going and eventually be yelling at women for wearing pants because that’s “men’s clothing”.

  • So what exactly are these entities? According to the Technion researchers, these light vortices are “zero points,” or “nulls,” within light waves—locations where the wave’s amplitude drops to zero. In simpler terms, they are points of complete darkness embedded within the light field.

And more importantly, only observed when light is slowed 100x so it operates like other types of waves.

We don’t know if it will actually happen when the light is moving at the speed of light.

And it’s hard to really say “nothing” is moving, it’s being propelled by different waves, so every peak pushes it into the next wave whose peak does the same thing.

The only theoritically practical application would be to embed an entangled particle into a vortice and laser that bitch somewhere. But even if we could crack how to do it, theoritical limit would still just be a flat increase over light speed, it wouldn’t keep scaling exponentially.

And even then, you’d need to turn the laser on long enough before hand that the entangled particle gets to where it’s going.

Where/when ever the vortice runs out of “track” it will exit and start decelerating, then you’d have to account for coasting to get it anywhere near what you’re aiming at.

    It’s cool and all tho

  • I used to love Borderlands…

Then they locked characters behind expensive DLC. So I started waiting for the “everything” editions, but then it made sense to just wait for big sales…

And eventually not caring about the franchise.

Its like Crusader Kings or Sims. It’s better than annual releases that don’t really change, but the DLC structure turns people away from the entire game. Even if you wait for a sale, all the “new” DLC stays expensive.

So people put off buying anything till they just don’t care.

  • “I have not been able to spend enough time on this to understand it. But, trust me, I’m obsessed with this,” Vance said. “I’ve already had a couple of times where I’ve said, ‘All right, we’re going to Area 51, we’re going out to New Mexico, we’re going to sort of get to the bottom of this.’ And then the timing of the trip didn’t work out. But, trust me, anybody who’s curious about this — I’m more curious than anybody. And I’ve got three years at the very tippy top of the classification. I’m going to get to the bottom of it.”

    Translation:

“Could this be a distraction from the child rape, coverup, civil rights abuses, and illegal wars?”
