Please remove the metal piece from your tub to examine it and the hole behind it. The metal part has a relief area at the bottom for water to flow into. Behind it is a hole that takes up about two third the diameter of the metal piece. Water will flow in not long after it reaches the bottom of the metal.

I’m calling this picture out as ai. The water is higher than the bottom of the tub overflow.

For my property, the best stuff is wooded land. Cedar, pine, fruit, cottonwood, dogwood, birch, walnut. Cedar being my favorite due to the smell. The tree canopy keeps the ground mostly clear. Lots of birds, raccoon, squirrel, possum, deer, mice, etc. Ample shade. Natural sound deadening. Never have to water it. And a wall of green around my home for most of the year.

I don’t take exception to learning about religions and their histories. I took an Eastern religion class in college and quite enjoyed it. The difference is that it wasn’t presented as factual but as an explanation for cultural and societal behaviors.

You had me until you got to a private school, which is largely affiliated with a religion. Those cess pools preach mumbo jumbo to impressionable minds and pretend it’s factual.
