hello :)

Honestly this is the kind of lazy i strive to be. Looks comfy as fuck.
One of the first paid ones was Crazy Machines a puzzle game where you have to solve rube goldberg machines, i must have been around 8. I only know about this now because I have only recently dusted off the old PC I was playing on. Its fun, I like that they always added a small backstory to every puzzle. The puzzles I have created were no real puzzles and I have just built what I felt like building. Definitely worth it (the newer ones not so much.)

Your welcome :) They do have direct links you can import there I think. Only did that with cmus myself though. Main station: https://bytefm.stream39.radiohost.de/bytefm-mainhq_mp3-320 and they also have an alternative station which only runs music, but im not sure what schedule it is following: https://bytefm.stream39.radiohost.de/bytefm-nurmusikhq_mp3-192

These are sadly more shows than stations which means you have to keep in mind when a show or its rerun is playing and also that their sometimes a show playing you really do not vibe with. I do not think they have comparable show to “Groove Salad” and their rather verbose show naming does not help there.
Groove Crates goes a little into the same direction, but the spectrum and genres they are playing is a lot wider and has a lot more funk, soul featured.

Or for left handed people… 🤔

took me long enough to realize this is on !lemmyshitpost@lemmy.world

Love me some SomaFM, for more variety I also like to listen in ByteFM (also ad-free since 2008).
DJs are talking german, but their mixes are unmatched. My favorite way of discovering new music.

Coworker of mine told me about “The Invariant Right” –the concept of shoppers going always right, so you might be onto something. It could however all be made up as well.

That is odd, normally you are only asked for a reason when you sign up for a new account and not when you just subscribe to a community. Can you share the community you were trying to subscribe?
I have to wait to be subscribed to the different communities That is unfortunately in the nature of the decentralization. Your instance cannot be sure that that the instance the community is on will respond in a timely fashion so it shows it as “pending”. The only thing we could maybe do about this is to be overly optimistic. Most requests to subscribe a community go though without a problem so we could just show it being subscribed even though are are not, but that would introduce other problems.

What do you think about https://phtn.app/ ? Sadly the PieFed support is in Beta for quite a while now, but I do like how clean everything looks. You can also hide away a lot of the complexity but I am not sure if that is the default.

Yea, i remember ending up on there more often when I still got my windows machine, but even then it had that weird aura to it. Just downloading it made me feel like it is not the intended way.

Being on Linux and in control of your OS couldn’t you just set the age statically to something like 99? I really do not understand the hate :/

For me at least it’s the simplicity. Not that I understand everything going on inside of it, but I could and knowledge is often times readily available.
Another point i could think of is that the feature set is often times more manageable, you are more in control of what it does or does not.
Thank you, appreciate it. :)
You all picked the worst time to be horny. Just recently mentioned Lemmy to my friends group >:(

I actually do not think it has much to do with that. I would guess it just did not make any money or the ongoing costs were too much.

“Tom Scott: Our Man in England”
Really excited about this. Would not mind him do that in other countries as well afterwards.
Trash is bad, but for me it actually is just that you would need to buy coffee in a special container, you can’t just go and buy the one you want as it has to be compatible with your fucking coffee machine?!?!?! fuck nestle
