There’s a really good docker image I use for rustdesk at home. I’m thinking of just setting it up on my mom’s laptop and then dropping a script on her desk to toggle it on or off, depending on if she needs help (so she doesn’t have to fiddle with the commands).

But, yeah, the Rustdesk docker image is super easy to use along with the client. Then I just set up tailscale on my mom’s computer and invite her to my network.

I think the US president threatening to wipe the entire country of Iran off the map is a bigger story.

Went from TRSDOS > Win 3.11 > Win 95 > Win 98 > Win XP > OS X > Win 10 > Linux Mint for daily desktop drivers.

Never been happier. <3

Depends on your financial system; are you looking to move to a bordering baltic country? An EU country? Elsewhere? Is Language barrier an issue?

Estonia, Georgia, Armenia; close options.
Scandinavia, further but generally stable. Ireland, Iceland; farther out there.

It also disappeared without plumbed toilets and water purification.

Meanwhile I just discovered Jellyfin has Smart Playlist, Home Screen Section, and Collection Sections plugins so I can make my Jellyfin home page exactly like Netflix/my old video store without a price hike. :)
