I mean, the foreign parts, supply chains and proprietary services and updates are all the case for every other modern vehicle too. I’m not sure why that comes up in EV discussions so much.

If you have a garage, driveway or a parking space with a power point, EV charging just happens while you’re doing something else. On longer trips it happens while you’re taking a leak or waiting for your coffee.
The people who have absolutely zero access to charging and need to rely on fast charging for all their driving, they need to be able to charge in 5 minutes on the way to work, but what they really need is an outlet installed wherever they’re parking their car overnight. Because they might not have a garage, but they’re parking somewhere.

You turn on parts of the grid at a time.

You can do some remarkably powerful things just by connecting a tank or chest to something and setting it to enable when there’s more or less than a certain amount of stuff in the container.
My first Gleba base looks like someone dropped a bowl of spaghetti. Everyone’s an Italian chef the first time they go to Gleba.
How many times has your Aquilo base blacked out and frozen over?

My base only has 500 logic controlled trains, I don’t have a problem.
Because it screws donors on both sides and the politicians serve the people who pay them.
